- And just how would you tell the difference between feral and domesticated cats on this great "hunt" of yours? I love your attitude---if its a nuisance, just kill it. You mention cats killing birds---well they hunt and kill mice as well. But I guess you didn't mention that.

- Its bad enough its a kill shelter, but gassing those poor animals? I have only heard of gas chambers at some of these shelters recently. I was under the impression this country had done away with gas chambers to euthanize unwanted animals.

- I have been an animal rights advocate for years. I quit going to circuses and rodeos when I was 18 years old. Because I could no longer bear to see the way the animals were treated. I applaud the fine for Ringling Brothers.

- If this is an attempt to make us feel guilty, sorry I'm not. I am retired on a fixed income and I can't afford to eat lobster but once maybe twice a year. This country cannot fix the world's problems. Our own problems keep on multipying. We are becoming a house of cards waiting to collapse.

- It seems to me this guy is a pretty good shot if he can "see movement" in the brush at night (or in diminished light), fire once and kill someone. I hope they charge him. I hope the idiot is never allowed to have or fire a weapon of any kind again.
